KENTEN Among Guangzhou’s First “City Partner” Enterprises

“Hosting sporting events is about city building.” As the 15th National Games marks its first-ever joint hosting by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, Guangzhou has seized this historic opportunity by launching the innovative “City Partner” initiative, calling for global “partners in striving for shared goals.” On June 25th, the first list of 15 City Partner enterprises was announced, with KENTEN becoming one of Guangzhou’s first selected enterprises under the “City Partner” plan, contributing to the city’s development.

On February 8th this year, Guangzhou officially launched the “City Partner” initiative, inviting global enterprises to become “partners in striving for shared goals.” Since applications opened on March 3rd, 168 domestic and international enterprises have responded enthusiastically. The first 15 officially announced enterprises are participating in Guangzhou’s “City Partner” plan through sponsorships, public donations, and resource coordination. Their collaborations cover key areas including strategic consulting, digital technology, low-altitude economy, and intelligent manufacturing.

Looking ahead, Guangzhou will leverage the entire city as a vast space and rich opportunities for enterprises to cooperate. The city will also jointly plan the development of the post-Games era with its “City Partner” enterprises.
